Jessica Gigot is a poet, farmer, teacher, and musician. On the farm she is passionate about offering experiences that foster creativity, kindness, and place-based living.
Her first collection of poems, Flood Patterns, was published by Antrim House Books in November 2015. Her poems have been published in several journals including Orion, Poetry Northwest, and The Hopper, and she has recent essays in Taproot and Gastronomica. In addition to farming and writing, Jessica has pursued education in soil health and holistic medicine and she completed her 200-hr YTT certification in 2019.
